ALL COACHES- YOUTH CERTIFIED
ANYONE ELSE (IE: Board member, Staff) - COMMUNITY CERTIFIED
All Coaches applying for Safe Places Youth Certification whether its for the first time or renewal all require a letter from Soccer to take to the RCMP detachment outlining their role to obtain a CRC & VSC (part of the Safe Places application for this designation)
Kelly (Safe Places with City of Swift Current) will be contacting you at the beginning of the season and they will provide you (only if you do not have a valid Safe Places certification) with the letter asking for a vulnerable sector check (VSC)
Everyone else can just go and ask for a CRC (Criminal Record Check) for Safe Places (only check required for their application of COMMUNITY CERTIFIED) free of charge. (This is for referees, board members, staff etc)
For information and support in obtaining your Safe Places certification you can contact: portal@safeplaces.ca
If you need the VSC letter or haven't heard from us on this email your inquiry to swiftcurrentsoccer@gmail.com
